About NurdleNet

Welcome to NurdleNet – a blog that celebrates quirky things and quirky people.

My name is Juliet Chase and I’m a blogger, photographer, writer, and occasional technical consultant. NurdleNet is a reflection of my basic life philosophy. I don’t like conforming to norms, like having only one career at a time, but I pay taxes and don’t speed any more than the average. You can check out my other blogs at www.7GreenStairs.com and http://psychic-horoscope.blogspot.com/ or see my photography at www.JulietChase.com

What’s in a Name?

Nurdle is one of those words in my family’s personal lexicon – one that we understand, but few others do. Yet many people in the world have the same concept and joy in things that are just a little offbeat. It seemed the perfect domain name for blogging in that spirit – easy to spell and remember, although not exactly optimized for search engines!

Building Up

While the germination of this blog is mine and started with my favorites and finds, I love to learn and explore what others have found. I hope that NurdleNet can become a community for all those that share the nurdle spirit. Please comment on the posts with your feedback, experiences, and ideas or send email to info at nurdle.net (replace at with @)
