The prime holiday season is upon us and the less common holidays are in abundance:

• October 3rd- Techies Day – hug a geek!
• October 7th – Bald and Free Day (best do it now before it gets too cold)
• October 9th – Leif Erikson Day, eat lutefisk if you dare
• October 18th – National Chocolate Cupcake Day
• October 20th – National Brandied Fruit Day
• Third Saturday: Sweetest Day in the Midwest – yes, it was probably invented by a candy company but nobody seems to care
• October 27th – National Navy Day – go on, hug a sailor! You know you want to
• October 28th – National Chocolate Day
• October 31 – Increase Your Psychic Powers Day

Probably no surprise that October is National Apple Month, but that also means it’s National Applejack month!  Combined with National Pickled Pepper Month and National Dessert Month
