Pet therapy with llamas
I’ve heard of pet therapy – usually when dogs, a few cats, and the occasional talking parrot visit hospitals and nursing homes. I’ve also met llamas (with a fence between) and not cared to get much closer – they have BIG teeth and one I met liked to greet people by scraping those teeth down the length of the person’s nose. So it seemed rather odd when I heard that llamas are being used to visit nursing homes etc., I suppose it would shock anyone out of a lethargy but they seem to be quite popular and people don’t have to bend over.
