The Nurdle Philosophy

You might still have a chance at a world medal

The World Games are the quirkier sports olympics – and are “under the official patronage of the International Olympic Committee” although I’m not entirely sure what that means.  But for every popular sport that is not allowed into the Olympics, there’s a little more leeway in the World Games, like surfing, and ballroom dancing and things where you don’t have to lift weights like billiards and orienteering.  You can even medal in life saving which seems a much more useful kind of award in general although I’ve never seen an endorsement deal. See the complete list of sports to see if you might make the cut.

There doesn’t seem to be too much coverage for this – NBC isn’t interrupting regular broadcasts etc. so Youtube may be the primary source for following the action.
